"I
like taking Simply Music from Ms. Mary because she makes
learning fun. I have learned
to compose my own music, and Ms. Mary even lets me play my
own songs at recitals. Every time I go to lessons I have
fun."

"I
have wanted to play piano all my life, but at 51, I was
beginning to feel I was getting too old to learn. Then
I came for the Simply Music intro and knew I HAD to do
this! It has been the BEST thing I have ever done. I was
astounded at how quickly we learned songs. Playing piano
has become my new relaxation pastime, but there have been
other bonuses. I feel sharper mentally then I have in years.
When I took a class for work that included a lot of memorization
and a difficult three-hour final exam, I felt a confidence
I would not have had a year ago! Mary is a wonderful, patient
instructor who not only teaches you to play, but constantly
stretches and challenges you to have fun and to do more
than you thought you could. Simply Music has added a whole
new dimension to my life!"

"As
senior citizens, we find Simply Music lessons mentally
stimulating and feel great satisfaction in being able to
play such a wide variety of songs without using written
music. We have recently begun reading music and are finding
it a very comfortable progression."

Simply Music is a remarkable, Australian-developed piano
and keyboard program that offers a breakthrough in music education. This
method is becoming the new standard in entry-level music learning, and
redefines both music learning and music teaching. This unique "playing-based" approach
produces unprecedented results and has students of all ages playing contemporary,
classical, blues and accompaniment pieces immediately, from their very
first lessons.

Simply Music teaches students to play the
piano by immersing them in the actual process of playing, and providing
a subtle balance between guidance, discovery, instruction and direct,
hands-on experience. This program uses an entirely new and far more
natural approach which transforms the entire music learning process.

WONDERFUL for children,
teens, adults and seniors
who thought they could NEVER play piano!
"Mary's
approach to music and piano is truly inspiring. My daughter,
Katie, started taking lessons at age 5 and within the first few
months learned so many songs. More importantly, she had a sense
of accomplishment and truly enjoyed playing. She is now 7 years
old and still enjoys playing. When my friend told me about Mary
and Simply Music, I was skeptical since I had taken piano lessons
for eight years with a traditional approach. However, my daughter
has more songs in her repertoire already than I ever did!
My son, Jonathan, took traditional lessons but couldn’t
relate to the child-like music. Instead of giving up the piano,
he tried Simply Music (at age 10) and was proud of all the challenging
and beautiful songs he was able to play in a short period of
time. In addition, Mary taught him chords early on, which is
a brilliant way of expanding musical knowledge and variety.
My father, Sydney, started taking lessons at 80 years old. He
had never taken lessons before and was so happy that he was able
to have fun while learning to play an instrument he had always
admired.
Mary's ability to know what each child is capable of is remarkable.
She has an excellent sense of what a student needs and encourages
her students to strive for their best while enjoying music."
