Peekaboo! I Love You (ages newborn to 18 months, with parent or caregiver)

July 25-29, 9:00-9:45 a.m., Huntington Woods Recreation Center

You and your baby spend 5 consecutive days laughing, singing, dancing and exploring—having your own special summer “camp” experience. We’ll learn new songs, lullabies and ways to say “I Love You” using touch, Mother Goose rhymes, books and chants.  Activities include instrument play, American Sign Language and special parent/baby dances that stimulate baby’s eyes, body and mind. Parents connect with other babies and families in the community as well as learn how much music aids the child development process. M-F, 45 minute classes. $60

 

Creatures at the Ocean (ages 18 months-4 years, with parent or caregiver)

Children love Creatures at the Ocean because they sing, move and play with Mom, Dad or caregiver while learning about the great outdoors, nature-friendly ideas and all kinds of interesting creatures unique to the coastal environment. We will dive into lessons like Ahoy There, On My Beach Blanket, Coastal Waters, Riding the Waves and In the Deep Blue Sea. So put on your beach clothes and join us for an ocean adventure! M-F, one-hour classes. $60

Near and Far (ages 4-7) July 25-29, 1:00-3:00 p.m., Huntington Woods Rec Center

Through exciting, imaginative activities that include music, movement, art and theme-related snacks, kids have great fun exploring unique environments all over the globe. Let your child join us as we picnic Over in the Meadow, dive Under the Sea, shiver Where Cold Winds Blow, hike High in the Mountains and trek Deep in the Rain Forest. In class we will sing, move, listen, play lots of fun instruments, make crafts, eat special snacks and share adventures. M-F, 2 hours. $110
