This class was developed for children ages 6-12
who love music and
want to perform. In Broadway Bound your young performer will learn
vocal technique, simple choreography and the basics of acting as we
learn selections from Broadway and film hits of the past and present.
The ideal Broadway Bound participant is the child who spends
hours
in front of the mirror acting out stories, those who love to
sing and dance and those who can just never get enough time being the
center of attention! A healthy outlet for all that desire to
perform,
our class will use and expand on existing talents in a fun and
encouraging environment. Each class session will conclude with
a brief performance for friends and family.
Classes are currently held twice each year, on Saturdays during
the winter months and in a one week camp format each August.

Broadway Bound’s Summer 2011 session will feature selections
from Rodger's and Hammerstein's
"Cinderella". Camp will be held the
week of August 15-19 with an a.m.
session from 10-noon and a p.m. session from 1-3. Please
call the Hunt. Wds. Rec Center at 248-541-3030 to
register.
